Our story

A neighbourhood Italian bakery & market in Ancaster

Castelli Mercato grew out of its big brother, Castelli Cucina on James Street in downtown Hamilton, and opened just off Fiddlers Green Road to bring the same love of Italian food to Ancaster. Think a traditional alimentari crossed with a modern cafe: display cases of bomboloni, cannoli and biscotti, an espresso bar running all day, New York and Roman pizza sold whole or by the slice, focaccia sandwiches pressed to order, take-home frozen dinner trays and shelves of imported Italian fine foods.
