Ancaster's Italian Bakery, Cafe and Mercato

Castelli Mercato grew out of Castelli Cucina on James Street in downtown Hamilton, and brings that same love of Italian cooking to Ancaster in a relaxed, market-style shop. Display cases are filled through the day with New York style and Roman style pizza sold whole or by the slice, focaccia sandwiches built on house-made bread, and a rotating bakery of bomboloni, Sicilian cannoli, biscotti and cookies. The espresso bar runs from open to close, so a cappuccino and a warm pastry are never more than a few minutes away.
