About Our Veal Parmigiana Tray

Veal parmigiana is Sunday-dinner food, and it is one of the dishes Castelli is known for. Cutlets are breaded and fried, then layered into a tray with our own pomodoro sugo — the same sauce we use on the veal parmigiana focaccia sandwich — and finished with mozzarella and Parmigiano Reggiano before being frozen.

How to Heat and Serve

Thaw the tray in the fridge overnight, then bake covered at 350°F until it is hot through and the cheese is bubbling, uncovering for the last few minutes to brown the top. Serve with pasta, crusty bread or a simple salad. Cooking from frozen works too — just allow extra time and keep it covered longer.
