About Our Italian SuperHero Sandwich
The bread does the heavy lifting. We bake focaccia in the shop every morning — olive-oil rich, dimpled, chewy inside and crisp on the base — and cut it fresh for each sandwich, so it holds the fillings without going soggy on the way home.
Inside, it is a proper Italian deli build: rosemary ham for sweetness, spicy capocollo for heat and fat, mild salami for depth, brick cheese for melt and salt, then tomato and hot garlic aioli to bring it together. It travels well, which is why it is one of our most-ordered lunch items in Ancaster.
What Makes This Sandwich Special
Cured meats are sliced to order rather than pre-portioned, and the hot garlic aioli is made in-house. If you want it milder, ask for regular garlic aioli instead. We also make Prosciutto Arugula, Mortadella Burrata Pistachio, Dino’s Turkey, Veal Parmigiana and Porchetta focaccia sandwiches if you are ordering for a group.
